Sissy and her guest's get some tips and
creative ideas on how to turn your next road trip into a Big
adventure.
- Be prepared. When you're packing last minute it's easy to forget
things so create a checklist. Including everything from clothing to
juice boxes will make packing up the car a breeze.
- Bring the fun along! Before starting your trip check out your local
dollar store for fun little games and toys. Dole them out as rewards for
good behavior.
- Get snacking! Long car rides mean hungry kids. Have your kids make
their own trail mix; they'll have fun making their snack and eating it
later.
- Where you seat your kid's matters! Where you seat your children is
important to a smooth ride. It's always best to keep kids with a shorter
attention span near a window. For kids who tend to get carsick, make
sure they focus their attention on something stationary. Save the middle
seat for your most relaxed child.
